The most mesmerizing photos of the northern lights of 2022

December is the month of summing up the results of the past year. Or a month of lists. Either this books, ranks, a photo in faces2022 was a year that left many priceless memories, moments, impressions and beautiful images.

One of these images is the image of the northern saddle, which we here in Greece have the opportunity to see only when traveling to the northern country or in photographs.

Travel Blog “Occupy the Atlas” recently selected the top 25 Northern Lights (aurora borealis) photos for 2022.

Recall that the aurora is a spectacular bright celestial phenomenon observed in the upper atmosphere and visible mainly at the poles. Although many do not know it, there is not only the northern lights, but also the southern lights, which are observed near the South Pole.

Auroras are created by disturbances in the Earth’s magnetosphere caused by the solar wind.
