“Emergency services have been dispatched,” Klitschko said on his Telegram channel.

Vitaliy Klitschko also said that ten of Shahed’s drones were shot down in the Kyiv region on Wednesday morning, according to The Guardian.

According to journalist Isobel Koshiv, one of the guardian’s correspondents in the capital of Ukraine, says that the Air Raid sirens sounded at 05:57, but the first explosion – which may have been anti-aircraft – was reported on the Ukrainian Telegram channel at 06:08.

He also says that there has recently been a gap of at least 30 minutes between the warning and the explosion, and tweeted a video taken in central Kyiv in which one of the explosions can be heard.

Kyiv Region Governor Oleksiy Kuleba said that the defense forces in the region are achieving several goals in the region, Kyiv Independent reports. The Ukrainian official urged residents to stay in shelters.
