November was a warmer month than usual, with temperatures in excess of 28 degrees in the early days, breaking numerous records for the highest values ​​measured in November. Tirgu Jiu broke the 1926 record and Titu broke the 1963 record, according to ANM data.

The average temperature in November 2022 ranged from -2.3 °C at Vf.Omu weather station to 11.2 °C at Mangalia. In Omu, the temperature was from -11.9 to +8.7, and in Mangalia from +1.7 to +24.5.

In November 2022, the monthly absolute maximum temperature was equaled or exceeded at 20 weather stations. In Dragesan, the previous record was exceeded by 2.6 C. In Titus, it was +28.3 C, surpassing the record of 1963. In Tirgovishte it was +27.9 C (exceeding the record of 2004). Kalafat’s record was exceeded by 1.7 C (27.9 C versus 26.2 C).

The deviation of the average air temperature in November 2022 from the median of the standard interval (1991-2020) across the country was positive. Large deviations, more than 2.5 °C, were registered in most of Oltenia, in the western half of Muntenia, in the south of the coast and separately in the mountainous area. The highest deviation value was 3.3 °C at the Drăgăşani weather station.

In most parts of the country, the regime is warm. It was very warm in most of Oltenia, in large areas in the western half of Muntenia and isolated on the southern coast and in Transylvania. The thermal regime was extremely hot in the north-west of Oltenia. Otherwise, the thermal regime was within normal limits.

The total amount of precipitation in November 2022 in most of the country was more than 50 mm. The highest indicators were recorded in the Apuseni Mountains and in the Banat Mountains, where the amount of precipitation exceeded 100 mm, and separately – 200 mm. The highest precipitation value for this month was 209.8 mm at the Stâna de Vale weather station, and the highest 24-hour precipitation value in November 2022 was recorded at the Sinaia 1500 weather station (54.4 mm). .

The deviation of precipitation in November 2022 from the median of the standard interval (1991-2020), calculated as a percentage, was positive almost all over the country. High values ​​of positive deviation, more than 100%, were recorded in most of the territory of Moldova, in the Eastern Carpathians, locally in Transylvania and isolated in Banat and Oltenia.

The largest value of positive deviation was 214% at the Rădăuți weather station. Negative deviations were recorded in large areas of Dobrudja, the Danube Delta, Muntenia, and some in other regions. The largest value of negative deviation was 54%, recorded at the Mangalia weather station.
