According to the amendment: funds can be allocated to the Ministry of Development through the GD from the reserve fund of the budget at the disposal of the Government for the design and execution of the contract, the conversion of Corp C2 into an ice rink for the school sports club. Sector 4 of Bucharest Municipality. The required amount is 10 million lei.

This rink, according to the changes, must organize and conduct special sports competitions.

In September, Daniel Beluce announced that he had started work on the rink.

“We know how necessary such a sports complex is, especially since at the moment Bucharest is the only European capital that does not have a competitive ice rink. Fans of ice sports have to travel tens, even hundreds of kilometers to satisfy their passion, many children today choose to train on roller skates in parks,” he wrote on Facebook.

  • “Soon, our Sector 4 community will fill this gap and support them, as well as the participating athletes of the Romanian Hockey Federation. On the territory of the base that belonged to Totul Verde. S.A. we started work on the foundation of the new building.
  • The rink will have bleachers, locker rooms, medical offices, administrative facilities, parking spaces and recreation areas designed so that parents who sign up their children for sports can watch them during practice.
  • It will be possible to arrange various shows on ice, for both children and adults.”
