In an interview with the Spanish media, Ronaldo spoke about the national team, coaches and players after his presence in Qatar at the World Cup matches.

Kudos to Kylian Mbappe and France

“Mbappe is the best since the World Cup. It’s impressive, a pleasure to watch him play. France are the big favourites, it shows match after match,” Ronaldo told Marca.

Ronaldo about Lionel Messi’s Argentina

“Argentina are not playing very well, but they want to win the World Cup, they run a lot and put all their heart into it. Also, they have the decisive Messi. I’ll be honest. I can’t say that Argentina will win,” said the Brazilian.

About the elimination of Brazil, Neymar and the future national team

“We didn’t know how to lose time in extra time of the match. We had to be smarter. For me, Brazil played very well, the only thing missing was the experience to keep the score 1-0. Neymar is saddened by the elimination, it was important for him to move on. I wouldn’t mind having a foreign coach. I would like a name like Guardiola, Ancelotti or Mourinho to coach Brazil.”

Ronaldo on Qatar and the organization of the World Cup

“It’s something fantastic, it’s a shame it’s coming to an end. We come with many prejudices, but we must be tolerant of cultures different from our own. This is the perfect World Cup, from the stadiums to the security, to the hotels and the infrastructure,” concluded Ronaldo Nazario.
