Currently, “Paris Saint-Germain” plays at the “Parc des Princes” arena, which belongs to the Paris City Hall.

Since there is no agreement with the mayor’s office, the leaders of the Paris club are also considering the construction of a new arena, but the best solution would be to move to another stadium.

PSG wants to play at the Stade de France – How much is the government demanding?

The French champions want a bigger and more spacious stadium for their fans, and the Parc des Princes option is no longer suitable, especially after pressure from Paris City Hall.

The Sheikhs were considering a move to the Stade de France, the stadium where the French national football team plays and where rugby matches are held. The arena has more than 80,000 seats and is almost twice the capacity of the Parc des Princes stadium.

The Parisians, however, have a money problem, because in exchange for the Stade de France, the authorities demand an amount of 600 million euros, which is considered excessive.

“Our first option is to stay, but I think the Paris City Council doesn’t want that. I push for us to go. We have been arguing with them for five years. Every time the same false promises: today, tomorrow, in this election, in the next…

We are tired of this. We want a fair deal. I love Parc des Princes, it’s our history and I respect it above all else, and staying was always our first choice.

But I don’t think they want us there. About 80 million euros were invested in the stadium from our pocket, but it is not our stadium. Who would do that? We want a stadium like other clubs. We need to increase revenue, have a better stadium for our fans, get as much as possible.

The mayor’s office thinks we’re joking, but we’re not, and we’re seriously considering other options. We are exploring other alternatives because I am beginning to think we are not welcome in the Parc des Princes. They are playing with us, but we are tired.” Nasser Al Khelaifi said, according to MARCA.
