FC U Craiova 1948 – FC Argeş, the final match of the 20th stage of the Romanian Championship, will take place on Monday, December 12 at 17:30 at the “Ion Oblemenco” stadium and will be broadcast live on Digi Sport 1, Prima Sport 2 and Orange Sport 1 .
The Super League offers a new interesting match between two teams that are suffering and far from the goal set at the beginning of the season – access to the playoffs.
FC Craiova 1948 had a huge win in the local derby against Universitatea Craiova (2-0), but before that success they had collected just two points from eight games, leaving them only 13th in the table with 19 matches scored 19 points.
Instead, Craiova 1948 advanced to the quarter-finals of the Romanian Cup, where they will face UTA Arad, with a 1-0 win at Petrolul Ploiesti last week.
“Our fans are happy when the team wins. We try to give 100% in every match, to score as many points as possible. Now we are thinking about the next matches,” said Nicolo Napoli, coach of the team managed by Adrian Mititelu.
FC Argesh drew with Rapid in their last Superliga match, 1-1 in Pitesti, and are in 10th place with 22 points from 19 stages, eight points off the last play-off spot.
In the middle of last week, Argeş played in the Romanian Cup against Craiova University, which they won 2-1, thus advancing to the quarter-finals, where they will play CFR Cluj.
“There are two matches left to play this year and we have to settle. For me, at the moment, the championship is the most important competition.
I would like to score as many points as possible in these two matches. FC Kraiova 1948 will have a tough match, I can’t say much about what will happen now, because I don’t know,” said Marius Kroitoru, coach of the white and purple team.
In a tour match played on August 12, FC Craiova beat FC Arges 2-0 after a double from Andrea Compagno (3, 75), an Italian striker who had meanwhile arrived at FCSB.
Superbet offers odds of 2.15 for the prediction GG: Both teams will score in the match FC U Craiova – FC Argeş.
