EL.AS made 25 arrests (24 women and 1 man). during a special operation in brothels in the center of Athens, which took place over two days on December 9-10. A criminal case has been initiated against those arrested for violating the seals.

According to the police, as part of the operation, targeted checks were carried out in nine brothels to identify victims of human trafficking and verify the legality of their activities.

In addition, the Attica Security Authority ransomware prosecution unit conducted targeted checks on eight health-interest stores in the center of Athens and checked eight visitors and those who visited them.

The arrested were taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office in Athens.
