Four traders from the Constanța Christmas market were temporarily closed by the District Consumer Protection Commissioner (CJPC) after several violations were found, including expired spices, powder preparations, missing cooking dates. Fines in the amount of more than 20,000 lei were imposed.

Konstanz County Commissioner for Consumer Protection announced on Saturday that 13 businesses from the Konstanz Christmas Market had been inspected.

The head of the National Authority for the Protection of Consumer Rights (ANPC), Horia Constantinescu, said that this fair is actually a “fraud that can endanger the health of consumers”, so he asked the commissioners from Constanta to “make a visit there”. “.
