A warm air mass will bring high temperatures for December this weekend, while temperatures could reach 19 degrees Celsius in the south-east, before the weather cools down sharply, National Meteorological Office director Elena Mateescu said.

“In the coming days, it is possible to record values ​​between 17 and 19 degrees in the southeast of the country, but this warming episode is short-lived,” Elena Mateescu told Digi24.

“Already in the first decade of December, we record a positive deviation from the norm by 3 degrees,” said the meteorologist, noting that from Monday it will get significantly colder again, “0, minus 2 degrees in the northwest and 9 degrees. – 10 in the southwest, 10 degrees at night.”

Tuesday and Wednesday will be the coldest days of December so far, especially at night and in the morning, when the temperature can drop to minus 10 – minus 15 degrees.

And in Bucharest it can be minus 5 – minus 7 degrees.
