140 years ago, the master Theodore Aman collected in a masterpiece with aesthetic and musical merits no less than 98 items of props, each with its own meaning and texture, and today the illustrated picture is one of the most valuable works created in year-end art auctionArtmark House next week, Thursday, December 15th.

The exotic air of the East also extends beyond the Oriental Dancer, with a starting price of €7,000, made in Mützner’s second artistic period, in contrast to Winter at Giverny, made in the early years when he worked with Claude Monet in the pictorial colony in Giverny, the starting price of which is 5,000 euros.

In a unique way for Bucharest, during the event on December 15, a masterpiece of Transylvanian painting, signed by the Brasov artist Hans Eder, will appear, boldly and in a European way, an uncomfortable subject that deeply concerns the beginning of that century and Romania, even for an urban context.
