Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that all suspicious packages received by Ukrainian embassies last week had the address of the sender of a Tesla car dealer in Germany. According to him, 31 packages were sent to Ukrainian representative offices in 15 European countries, including Romania.

“Over the past two days, suspicious packages have arrived at the embassies of Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Denmark, as well as at the consulates in GdaƄsk. In total, we already have 31 cases in 15 countries: Austria (1), Vatican City (1), Denmark (1), Spain (5), Italy (4), Kazakhstan (1), Netherlands (1), Poland (6), Portugal (2), Romania (2), USA (1), Hungary (2), France (1), Croatia (1), Czech Republic (2),” Kuleba wrote on Facebook.

The embassies and consulates of Ukraine work “in a heightened security mode” because “threats to our diplomats continue to arrive,” he added.

According to the Ukrainian official, all the letters have the same delivery address: a Tesla car dealership in the German city of Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart.

“They were sent from post offices that were not equipped with video surveillance systems,” he noted.

Kuleba drew attention to the “level of professionalism of the perpetrators” who took “measures not to leave DNA traces on the packages, which made it difficult for the investigation to identify them.”

“Threats against our diplomats continue to arrive,” added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Ukraine announced last week that a series of “bloody parcels” had been sent to Ukrainian embassies in Europe shortly after a bomb exploded at the Ukrainian embassy in Spain and after police defused others sent to Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, among others.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid received a package with animal eyes on Friday, which the Ministry of Internal Affairs said had a foreign seal, Reuters reports.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the “bloody bags” contained the eyes of animals and were soaked in a liquid with a characteristic color and smell.
