
It’s time for something new at Toyota: Indeed, after unveiling the latest generation Prius, Toyota C-HRlaunched in 2016, should offer a second generation for 2024. Concept Toyota C-HR Prologue is already revealing its contours to us before the official presentation of the serial model, scheduled for next year.
The first generation Toyota C-HR (for “Coupé – High Rider”) was announced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show alongside the Toyota C-HR Concept. Two years later, the serial model saw the light of day with an unprecedented positioning as a crossover SUV of the C segment. Today, the Japanese firm is preparing to update the C-HR with the second generation, which retains the model: boldly and cheerfully.
Toyota C-HR Prologue: developed in France!
In case you didn’t know, it was the Toyota C-HR developed in France, at the Toyota and Lexus European Design Center, named ED², located in Sofia Antipolis, in the south of France. The Toyota C-HR Prologue concept was also born here:

Toyota C-HR Prologue: bold style
The Toyota C-HR Prologue concept announces the lines future generation C-HR : this car will remain true to the style of the first C-HR, an exceptional car designed to attract attention, but offering more modern lines, both sporty and sleek.
Larger wheels with shorter overhangs appeared, and the Japanese manufacturer is already announcing increased capacity and practicality. The lines are sharp and the front shows off the character of the model, thanks to the slim C-shaped LED headlights, not to mention the large three-dimensional grille. The two-tone paintcombining metallic silver with recycled carbon black contrasts with colored sulfur yellow accents.
Toyota C-HR Prologue: hybrid engines
The future Toyota C-HR will be under the hood hybrid engines : a self-charging hybrid engine as well as a plug-in hybrid engine equipped with European-made batteries. The model will only offer no electric motoras that role will be reserved for the bZ3X, the recently announced bZ Compact concept.
The serial version of Toyota C-HR of the second generation will be presented during 2023. The first orders will open at the end of 2023, and the launch and first deliveries are planned for 2023. the beginning of 2024.
