The historical German manufacturer Borgward was founded in 1933 in the city of Bremen. He distributed his models under four brands: Lloyd, Goliath, Hansa and, finally, Borgward. Situated the top of the line, the latter sold models among the highly symbolic Isabella. But as an independent manufacturer, he did not survive large German automobile concerns. Starting with Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Therefore, in 1961, the Borgward company was forced to cease operations, putting an end to the name and mythical models.
