Paulo Bentu is no longer the coach of the South Korean national team

After the game with the Seleção, Paulo Bento announced his resignation as coach of the South Korean national team, the BBC reports.

“We have to think about the future, and I will not be in the South Korean national team. I informed the players and the president of the federation and this decision I made in September is a firm decision.

Today (no – Monday) I confirmed it and I have to thank the players for everything they have done. They gave everything and I was proud to be their coach” – Paulo Bento.

The Portuguese has led the South Korean national team since August 2018.

Earlier, Carlos Queiroz (69 years old) and Gerardo Martino (60 years old) announced that they will no longer coach Iran and Mexico, respectively, after participating in the World Cup in Qatar.
