
New car registrations fell in November, but have continued to rise for 11 months, thanks to the first few months of the year bringing strong numbers. According to ACAROM, the market for imported used cars has fallen by 20% this year.
New car registrations in Romania decreased by 3% in November 2022 compared to November 2021, reaching 11,074 units.
In the first eleven months of 2022, the number of registered new cars reached 116,891 units, which is 6.9% more than in the same period of 2021, i.e. 109,350 units.
As for used cars registered for the first time in Romania, their volume reached 25,537 units in November 2022, which is 15% less than in November 2021.
In the first eleven months of 2022, the registration of used cars registered for the first time in Romania reached the value of 293,919 units, which is 20% less compared to the same period of 2021, respectively 368,521 units.
