France – Poland 3:1, World Cup 2022 round in Qatar

The French started the match well and constantly put pressure on the Poles’ goal. In the 44th minute, Olivier Giroud opened the scoring, hitting the far corner after Mbappe’s pass.

In the second half, the same Giroud scored perfectly with “scissors”, but the referee whistled a foul on the goalkeeper of Poland.

Kylian Mbappe again demonstrated his class in the 74th minute when, receiving a pass on the edge of the penalty area, he picked up the ball and executed Szczesny with a wonderful shot.

The PSG striker made it a double in the 90th minute, when he invented another beautiful realization directly into the goal of the Poles.

In extra time, Poland were awarded a penalty after a handball in the penalty area, and the referee referred to the VAR images. Lewandowski converted in the 99th minute after missing in the first phase, but it looked set to happen again.
