Thursday night at the 2022 World Cup was spectacular as Japan came back from 0-1 down to beat Spain (2-1) and for a few minutes the Pyrenees went hand-to-hand with Germany as Costa Rica beat the Germans 2-1. . In the end, Hansi Flick’s team won 4-2.
Japan won Group E, Spain qualified from second place and multiple world champions Germany returned home after the 2022 World Cup group stage.
