Germany is eliminated from the group stage of the World Cup for the second time in a row

Hansi Flick’s team did not rely on her output, and although the Germans managed to defeat Costa Rica (4-2), they missed the qualification due to the victory of Japan.

This is the second World Cup in a row that Germany has missed the group stage since the 2018 World Cup (Russia).

Spain also lived dangerously in the duel with Japan (1-2), although the scheme coached by Luis Enrique opened the account for Alvaro Morata (min. 11). The Japanese returned the result in the second half thanks to Ritsu Doan (min 48) and Ao Tanaka (min 51).

The score remained the same, and Japan goes from first place in the group.
