Senegal beat Ecuador 2-1 to advance to the knockout stages of the World Cup. The winner of the African Cup, who played without Sadio Mane, will face the team that took first place in the second group.

The Africans approached the match strongly and had a great moment with Gaye in the third minute. In the 8th minute, Zambali made a beautiful vertical pass to Dia, but he missed in a four-four with Galindes.

Aliou Cisse’s team dominated the field. The Africans lost important stages, and Ecuador was unable to make a last attempt.

In the 76th minute, Mendy blocked Plata’s shot. Ecuador were eager to score a qualifying goal, but the Africans seemed to be in control.
