Following Belgium’s 2-0 defeat to Morocco, international media speculated that De Bruyne, Vertonghen and Hazard had an altercation in the dressing room.

Courtois and Hazard deny the scandal in the dressing room

Thibaut Courtois has denied reports of a major row between Belgium players, despite being upset by the loss to Morocco. However, he warned his teammates that anyone leaking information from within the team would suffer.

“We communicated with each other, we solve all problems together. There are no conflicts in the team, only outsiders try to create them. Of course, no one is happy after a defeat. We will give everything on the field on Thursday, for qualification. Who provided this information? If we find out, it’s his last day with the national team,” the Real Madrid goalkeeper said, according to the Daily Mail.

“Nothing happened in the dressing room. We discussed for an hour, now we want to win Croatia, we have two days to prepare,” Eden Hazard also said.

Belgium are third in Group F at the 2022 World Cup with 3 points and will face leaders Croatia in a crucial match for a place in the round of 16 on Thursday.
