
The Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback lineup has been updated with a new version called “Performance”, which, as the name suggests, offers sportier equipment and engines.
Performance versions of the Audi RS 6 Avant and Audi RS 7 Sportback are distinguished by an updated 4.0-liter TFSI engine with enlarged turbochargers and increased boost pressure from 2.4 to 2.6 bar. So this biturbo V8 unit gets no less than 30 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque, peaking at 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of torqueagainst 600 horsepower and 800 Nm before.
Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback Performance: more efficient engine
This engine is transmitted to all-wheel drive through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and is connected to a mechanical center differential. On the performance side, Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 3.4 secondswhich is 0.2 seconds better than the basic versions.
To allow the passengers to enjoy the sound of the engine, and to lighten the car to improve its performance, Audi has reduced the insulation of the engine compartment and the rear of the car.

Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback Performance: unique style
Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback Performance are available in the range 16 body colorsincluding unreleased Ascari Blue Metallic and Matt, as well as Dew Silver matt, contrasting with matte gray exterior elements: exterior mirrors, front spoiler, front side flaps, rocker panel inserts, roof rails and side skirting windows and rear diffuser.
As an option, you can choose a matte/black carbon design, while the Audi model rings and lettering are available in chrome or black. Performance models also come with 21-inch cast aluminum wheels, while lightweight 22-inch wheels are available as an option, along with 22-inch cast aluminum wheels offered in gloss black metallic, matte gray, matte black or matte neodymium gold. .
Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback Performance: customizable interior
Aboard, RS Design package now available in blue: on the black Alcantra steering wheel we find contrast stitching in Mercato blue, as well as on the floor mats, the side of the center console and the gear selector, as well as on the sports seats in Valcona leather. The seat belts are matched to the tone, and the edge inserts are made of carbon with additional blue elements. When the front doors are opened, an “RS Performance” logo is projected onto the ground.
For customers who want more personalization, Audi offers the “Audi Exclusive Customizer” tool for extensive configuration of their own car. Orders for these two new models will open on December 8, 2022 in France: it will take from 146,450 euros for’Audi RS 6 Avant Performanceand from 152,720 euros for’Audi RS7 Sportback Performance.
