After a balanced first half with the Brazilians dominating the shots on goal, Switzerland looked to start the second half better and managed to get dangerously close to Alisson’s goal.
The goal went to Sommer, but Vinicius Junior’s 64th minute success was disallowed by the referee for offside after VAR analysis.
The final victory was brought by Casemiro’s goal, which ended a beautiful action by the Brazilians on the fly in the 83rd minute.
With two wins, Brazil have already qualified for the last 16 of the World Cup, while Switzerland still have hope ahead of their final group matches.
