Bertone: returns for its 110th anniversary
After a successful history, Bertone will go bankrupt and disappear in 2014. But since 2020, the Bertone brand has been bought by Ideaactive, run by Mauro and Jean-Franc Ricci, car enthusiasts who plan to relaunch the brand.
Today, Carrozzeria Bertone announces his big comeback in social networks, with the signature of the publication “Bertone returns” (“Bertone returns”), accompanied by a teaser announcing the arrival of a completely new model, the silhouette and first details of which we are revealing.

Bertone: an electric supercar?
Even if no information has been revealed at the moment, the first teaser images released on social media by the famous Italian coachbuilder show supercar with fine lines still hidden in the semi-darkness.
We can still see details of the LED headlight up front, which consists of several vertical segments and highlights the Italian brand’s “B” logo, as well as the taillights, which feature several horizontal red segments.
Bertone supercar: inspiration from the past
According to other posts on Bertone’s Instagram account, the model is also said to have drawn inspiration from the Alfa Romeo Carabo, a concept car unveiled at the 1968 Paris Motor Show.
This green coupe features fenders that can also be found on the upcoming Bertone model. As for the engine, if last year’s concept was equipped with a 230-horsepower V8, the modern reinterpretation could very well be equipped 100% electric motorization… To be continued !
