If Canada needed a doubles match in Saturday’s semifinals to secure a place in the grand final, Felix Auger-Aliasime and Vasek Pospishil defeated their opponents on Sunday.

In the first match, Denys Shapovalov (18 ATP) outclassed the Australian Tanasi Kokkinakis (95 ATP) and defeated him only after one hour and 31 minutes with a score of 6-2, 6-4.
In the second match, Felix Auger-Aliassime (6 ATP) also won convincingly against Alex De Minaur (24 ATP), finishing 6-3 6-4 at the end of an hour and 42 minute match.
This is the first such title for the Canadian national team.
