Iran is playing in the 2022 World Cup, and the footballers have already expressed their support for the protesters in their country at the match against England (recently there were violent riots). Ahead of the match against Wales, a fan at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium (Al Rayyan) took a photo of the day from the competition in Qatar.

Iran cries bloody tears – Mahsa Amini is not forgotten

This time, the wards of Carlos Queiroz sang the national anthem of Iran, but the stands continued to protest against the situation in the country. A fan cries with tears of blood and holds a T-shirt with the name of Mahseya Amini, one of the victims of the regime in Tehran.

More than 400 protesters have been killed in Iran recently and nearly 17,000 others have been arrested as demonstrations have been put down in a bloody fashion.

Iranian leaders call the protests “riots” organized by the country’s external enemies.

Iran is in Group B at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar along with England, USA and Wales.
