Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 65th minute when he scored from a rather easily awarded penalty, which he also converted.
Andre Ayew equalized eight minutes later (73′), but it was not enough for Ghana to get a big result against Portugal.
Bruno Fernandes came out: the Manchester United star provided two brilliant assists, while Joao Felix (78′) and Rafael Leao (80′) scored for the Lusitanians.
Bucari’s goal (89′) should have made the end of the match more interesting, but in the end Portugal won with a score of 3:2.
In the 100th minute, the goalkeeper Diogo Costa made a big mistake (he left the ball in his hands to knock it out, but did not know that the opponent was behind him), but Bucari could not take advantage and bring out an unlikely equalizer.
The match at “974 Stadium” was attended by 42,662 spectators.
