Spain entered the World Cup in Qatar on the right foot. Luis Enrique’s team defeated Costa 7-0 and finished fifth in the group.

The 2010 World Champions took a comfortable win, leading 3-0 at half-time. This result put them in first place along with Japan.

Moriasos’ team beat Germany 2-1, which was another big surprise of the tournament. Next weekend, Hansi Flick’s team will face Spain in the final match of the qualifiers, as if Japan loses and wins against Costa Rica, they will have an early farewell to the tournament.
