Almost half of the apartments connected to the centralized heating system in Bucharest have problems with the supply of hot water and heat. The most problems are in sectors 2, 3 and 5. The reason: two breakdowns on the highways and one breakdown at the Progres CET.
According to the application “Thermoenergetics”, 51% of heating systems do not work in normal mode, 12% of houses have hot water and heat completely disconnected, almost 39% of coolant does not meet the parameters, that is, hot water comes, but it is quite cold.
“We have the 5th sector in the red, that is, there are bigger problems, because yesterday there was a failure in the operation of the boiler of CET Progress, it will be fixed in 2-3 days. We still have a breakdown in Military that is being fixed today and a breakdown on Hwy 3 south that will also be fixed today. So we can take power from CET South to put it into sectors 2 and 3. Sectors 2 and 3 are now deficient, they are not stopped, so hard water is coming in, it is not within parameters. In sector 5, the heating agent is turned off. The breakdowns on the power grid happened yesterday, the accident on CET Progresu about a week ago,” Termoenergetica director Claudio Kretsu explained to HotNews.ro.
The situation by sector is as follows:
- Sector 1 – 42 houses do not have hot water and heat at all, 93 receive a coolant below the norm;
- Sector 2 – about 1,400 blocks receive a thermal agent below the parameters;
- Sector 3 – about 1,775 houses receive heat agent below the parameters, 35 houses do not receive it at all;
- Sector 4 – about 160 blocks receive thermal agent below the parameters, 26 buildings do not receive it at all
- Sector 5 – 700 blocks does not receive coolant at all;
- Sector 6 – about 350 blocks do not receive hot water and heat at all, and 200 receive coolant below the parameters;
