Saudi Arabia won the first match of the third group of the World Cup. Herve Renard’s team beat Argentina 2-1, one of the biggest defeats in the history of the tournament.

Lionel Scaloni’s team took the lead thanks to Messi’s accurate penalty. However, the Saudis did not abandon the match and made significant progress in the second half, when the Saudi government declared Wednesday a day off to celebrate a big victory.

In the other group match, Mexico and Poland drew 0-0 in a match with several good phases. Goalkeeper Ochoa saved Lewandowski’s penalty in the second half.
