Formula 1 – The Chinese Grand Prix will not take place in 2023

According to the quoted source, the Chinese Grand Prix will also not take place in 2023, and this is due to regulations related to Covid-19.

The last Grand Prix held in China was held in 2019, and on April 16, Formula 1 was supposed to return to this country.

Formula 1 officials believe they cannot ask teams to travel to Shanghai for the Grand Prix if there is a risk of contracting Covid-19 and then they will have to spend days in quarantine.

According to current regulations in China, a person infected with Covid-19 must spend five days in an isolation ward and another three in home isolation.
