The son of a prosecutor from Constanta allegedly shot himself in the head with a gun on Sunday, the victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, Agerpres informs.

The Konstanz District Police Inspectorate (IPJ) said the police were alerted at around 11:30 a.m. by a 112 call that a 31-year-old man had shot himself in the head with a pistol.

“Three police departments, as well as forensic and criminal investigation officers, went to the scene of the incident and conducted an inspection in order to establish the causes and circumstances of the incident. At the same time, 2 SMURD vehicles from the ISU Dobruja of Constanţa County, respectively the first aid team and the mobile intensive care team, arrived at the scene,” said the press release sent to IPJ Constanţa.

According to the quoted source, the victim had vital signs and was urgently taken to the hospital.

Investigations in this case are ongoing.

According to some judicial sources, the victim, a bailiff, is the son of a well-known prosecutor from Constanta.
