Manchester United are considering legal action against Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the website of the Guardian newspaper, the English team has hired lawyers to continue the lawsuits against the Portuguese superstar.
In a related post, it is taken for granted that the 37-year-old will no longer wear a Red Devils jersey after his return from the World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo, in an interview he gave to Piers Morgan, directly accused Manchester United of not showing due interest after the loss of his son. He also said that the Glazer family doesn’t care about the team and coach Erik ten Haag doesn’t respect him.
“Manchester United took action this morning in response to a recent interview with Cristiano Ronaldo. We will not make any further comments until this process is completed,” the English team said in a statement.
The Portuguese’s contract with Manchester United ends in the summer of 2023. Cristiano Ronaldo earns £500,000 a week.
The Portuguese returned to the English club in the summer of 2021. He reportedly asked to leave over the summer after Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League.
