November’s new arrivals on Netflix include the first original series produced by an American streaming company in Romania, another highly controversial series, a truly strange series, a much-anticipated fan film, and a family film starring Jason Momoa in an unusual role for him.
It is about Wednesday, the TV series “The Addams Family”, filmed in our country; Season 5 of the scandalous series Crown who does not rule the British royal family at all even after the death of Queen Elizabeth II; 1899 year, a mysterious series that is difficult to describe; the sequel to Enola Holmes, released two years ago; Dreamland is an adventure film for the whole family, in which Jason Momoa steps out of his comfort zone.
In addition to them, we also meet with: Blood and water: season 3, Dead to Me: Season 3, FIFA is open, Inner workings: Part 2, Lost bullet 2, One of Us Lies: Season 2, Manifesto: Season 4, Someone, swimmers, Miracle, Warrior Nun: Season 2 and more.
So, here’s what’s new this month on the streaming platform:
November titles on Netflix
Enola Holmes 2 (from November 4)
Fresh from the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and opens her own agency. But he soon discovers that the life of a detective is not as easy as he thought.
Against the background of a dangerous conspiracy, Enola is faced with a mystery to solve which she will need the help of her friends and Sherlock himself. So everything starts up again. Along with new friends and enemies, you can once again see Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, David Thewlis, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma, Adel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster and Helena Bonham Carter.
The first Enola Holmes movie became one of Netflix’s most popular original movies after its release on September 23, 2020, with an estimated 76 million households viewing the feature-length film in just the first month of its release.
The Crown: Season 5 (November 9)
As the new decade approaches, the royal family faces perhaps its biggest challenge as public opinion questions the role of the monarchy in 1990s Britain.
As the 40th anniversary of her accession to the throne approaches, Queen Elizabeth II (Imelda Staunton) reflects on a reign marked by nine prime ministers, the launch of mass television and the decline of the British Empire, in which the royal family faces an unprecedented personal trouble
Not that the previous ones were without controversy, but I’d dare say Season 5 Crown to date is the most controversial after a period when the British royal family was rocked by a series of scandals related to the private lives of its members.
In fact, Season 5 is so controversial that Netflix has finally agreed to display a disclaimer informing viewers that it’s a fictional series, after years of resisting requests to do so.
1899 (from November 17)
The year 1899 comes, and a ship full of emigrants leaves the old continent. Having different European origins, the passengers are united by hopes and dreams about the future that awaits them in the new century, in another country. But their journey takes an unexpected turn when they discover another emigrant ship, on board which they will find something that will turn their journey to the promised land into a real nightmare.
I managed to watch a few episodes of 1899 and was intrigued by the trailer I included in the Nerd Alert column issue, and I have to say that this is a mystery series in the truest sense of the word, although it would be difficult for me to describe it.
Country of sleep (from November 18)
Dreamland takes viewers to a new place in the story, to a world of dreams, where intelligent Nemo (Marlowe Barkley) and her eccentric companion Flip (Jason Momoa) embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

Her new school and routine are challenging by day, and by night, a secret map of the fantasy world of the Dream brings Nemo closer to Flip, a tough but loving outlaw who quickly becomes her partner and guide. She and Flip immediately embark on an incredible journey, overcoming dreams and running away from nightmares, where Nemo begins to hope that she will be reunited with her father. Jason Momoa in a new role for him:
