The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has declared the wanted leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Kadyrov is “a person who is hiding from pretrial investigation authorities.”
The investigation accuses Kadyrov of violating the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and planning, preparing, launching and waging a war of aggression.
Kadyrov faces a prison sentence of 7 to 15 years.
The head of Chechnya reacted ironically to reports that the authorities in Kyiv were looking for him, saying that he had already been to Ukraine “several times”.
