Since 1999, November 19 has been celebrated as International Men’s Day. The goals of the day include focusing on the health of men and boys, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality and showcasing male role models.

On the website www.barbatidesucces.ro, Romanians voted for the most successful men in 2022. A total of 2879 people voted and we are in the top 10athletes, artists and businessmen.

Although they seem to have nothing in common (David Popovici with Gheorghe Zamfir; Carterescu with Hagi; Cyriac with Smiley or Dinesh with Rebenjuk), they all share a common thread, a trait they share and which introduced them to success: PASSION.

The determination, confidence and stubbornness with which they followed their passion made them who they are today: the most successful people in Romania. David Popovich was uncompromising when it came to his passion: swimming. Kerterescu did not stop writing for more profitable work. And Dinesh dreamed of becoming a writer from an early age, and when he came across a book about the C++ programming language, he became the most successful code writer in Romania, whose business is now valued at billions of dollars.

So, our list once again celebrates the achievements of these 10 men, but also reveals the recipe for success: to follow your passion, even if it would be easier to give it up and take an easier path. There is no success without passion!

How did you make the top?

The final rating was the result of online voting on the website www.barbatidesucces.ro

The voting period is from September 15 to October 15, 2022, a total of 2,879 people voted.

Everyone who voted had the opportunity to name 3 successful men from Romania. 1st place received 100 points, 2nd place received 66 points, 3rd place received 33 points. The top was obtained by adding the number of points for each nominated name.

The voting results were certified by the research company www.Brandberry.ro

Prizes for those who voted

On November 19, on International Men’s Day, the winners of the “People of Success” promotion will be drawn. Everyone who voted on the website www.barbatidesucces.ro participates in the draw
