At least 10 works of art can be bought together with €1,000 at an event organized by auction house A10 by Artmark next week, Tuesday 22 November. For the first time, young collectors and art enthusiasts or those who intend to make smart investments during this period have the opportunity to purchase works of art at the lowest starting prices.

“Classic to Modern – Bucharest Art Collection Auction” brings together 159 works, each with a starting price below 1,000 euros, and fulfills three functions: decorative, investment and collectible. Therefore, the event of November 22 is the best time to decorate the house with works at low prices, with the potential to increase over time, but also to create an art collection: expressive portraits, still lifes, marine or oriental views, delicate nudes. , as well as sculptures or works of contemporary art that reflect boldness and abstract ideas.

The purchase of artwork through Artmark’s A10 auction house eventually became available to the general public. Thus, the works signed by Ion Popescu Gopo, the creator of the cartoons in which the main character was “Gopo man”, his own creation, which made him famous and brought him many national and international awards, have a starting price of only 80 euros. In addition, they come from the collection of the pianist Aurel Giroveanu, which is an important detail that adds value to the works. Other important works for the Romanian art market: “Moș Neagu”, signed by Teodor Palladi, with a starting price of €400; “Tărm la Techirghiol” by Gheorghe Petrascu, whose starting price is 250 euros; “Deux femmes” by Georges Mazil, starting price 200 euros.

The works, the value of which may increase over time, and which will be available for purchase from the November 22 event, are signed by Teodor Aman, Gheorghe Petrascu, Jules Perachim, Georges Mazilu, Alexandru Satmari, Constantin Pachea or Corneliu Ionescu. A reference work is also “La oglindă (Marie Lize)” signed by Franziska Gall, with a starting price of only €900.

159 works of art from the auction of the Bucharest Art Collection can be seen at the Cesiano-Rakovice Palace at CA Rosetti Street, no. 5 or online at artmark.ro. The exhibition is open to the general public from Monday to Sunday, free of charge, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
