Launched in 2015, the Bentley Bentayga was the luxury British firm’s first SUV, but it has also since become its best-seller, accounting for more than 40% of the brand’s sales this year. Although the extended wheelbase version of the Bentayga EWB was recently launched, this special edition Bentley Bentayga Odyssey Edition completes Crew’s designer catalogue.

Embracing sustainability and environmentally responsible materials, the model joins last year’s Flying Spur Odyssean Edition, inspired by the EXP 100 GT concept car, which foreshadows Bentley’s vision of luxury mobility in 2035.

Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition stands out with the materials used inside: the Koa wood of the center console really uses 90% less varnish compared to conventional high-gloss wood veneer, which allows you to show off its texture and natural appearance, saving resources by applying only three thin layers of varnish with a total thickness of 0.1 mm.

The passenger compartment is also dressed up environmentally friendly natural leatherwhich combines three different colors as well as panels with 100% British wool. A choice of six exterior colors contrasted with ‘Pale Brodgar’ gold inserts on the 22-inch wheels and lower body moldings allow you to personalize your Bentayga. “Odyssean Edition” badges complete this exclusive livery.

Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition: 462 horsepower hybrid V6

Under the hood of the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition we find hybrid engine which associates the block V6 TFSI from 3.0 l to a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor: the unit develops total power 462 horsepowerwhich allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 254 km/h.

The model has a Battery 18 kWhwhich allows him drive 45 kilometers in 100% electric mode, according to the WLTP cycle. Depending on the driver’s choice, three driving modes are available, favoring electric or hybrid mode.

Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition: only 70 copies

The Bentayga Odyssean Edition will be launched in limited edition of 70 copies, but Bentley has not announced its price. Ordering is possible from November 2022, and production is planned for the first quarter of 2023.
