If it was supposed to stop on November 1, the government eventually decided to extend it for a few days. Indeed, motorists could not take advantage of this discount due to the strike and fuel shortage, which also led to an increase in prices. That is why the state took the initiative to extend the allowance, which will, therefore, finally put an end to it Wednesday, November 16. After that date, the discount will drop to just 10 cents.

A complete stop at the end of the year

But rest assured, there will still be a small discount after November 16. Indeed, it will be fine 10 cents at all service stations, while TotalEnergies will also offer a discount of the same amount, for a total of 20 cents, which is always better than nothing. Be careful though, as the government has confirmed that the benefit will be completely withdrawn from 1 January 2023. Increases for large videos will still be considered.
