
OUR Paul McCartney collected 80 singles for a new collection he will create: a box set of 7-inch vinyl records.
It will be released on December 2, will be limited to 3,000 copies in a wooden box, and will consist of 163 songs covering the period from 1971 to 2019. 65 singles will have refurbished covers and the same b-sides.
For the 148-page book that will accompany the entries, former member The Beatles he wrote a touching foreword about the whole process, as well as his love of b-sides. The box set costs $611.98.
In a press release, McCartney states: “I hope the songs in this box set bring back fond memories. They bring to me and more will follow in the future…” All songs were processed in the Abbey Road studio.
Earlier this year, McCartney performed at the UK Glanstonbury Festival and re-released three of his solo albums. Peter Jackson’s documentary “Let It Be” about the legendary bugs was released last year and immediately fell in love with the audience.
