Bianca Basaliou: “You don’t need courage at the last second”
At the end of the game, Bianca Bazaliou explained how such a long-range goal was possible.
“That’s cool and all. It’s good, I’m very happy with the win and I’m happy for the team that we managed to get these two points. When I gave the ball to Chris (not Christina Nyagu) I was 100% sure that we didn’t have time left and when I got it back, I took it and gave it, I didn’t stop for a second thought. I think I’ve scored like that before, I don’t know for sure.
Now we have opened a big chance, we have two points, we have to consider each match individually and continue on our way. The team needed a victory, that’s the most important thing. It is also a relief for me, but I can say that I am good in the team, with the girls, we are doing well.
You don’t need courage at the last second, you take and give, it’s all or nothing.
Fatigue is felt, but now we have 3 free days and we must use them to prepare for the next matches” – Bianca Basaliouaccording to the results of the match with Spain, Eurosport cites.
