
A 27-year-old man who allegedly set fire to five cars parked on two streets in Sector 4 was caught and arrested, the Metropolitan Police said on Friday.
According to the source, on Thursday, around 01:30, policemen of the 16th department received a message on 112 that a fire broke out in a car parked at an address in sector 4, which also spread to another car. Later, it was reported that at another address in the same sector, a person set several cars on fire and stole things from inside.
A 27-year-old man was detained and immobilized at the scene of the burning of cars and taken for questioning. The police say that it has been established that he set fire to five cars parked on two streets in Sector 4, from which he stole several items.
