September 2022 compared to August 2022
In September 2022, in most types of economic activities, the level of the average net salary increased compared to August 2022 due to the provision of one-time bonuses (quarterly, annual bonuses, management bonuses, for special results or for “Oilman’s Day”), the right to in-kind and cash aid, amounts from net profit and other funds (including securities) Also, the increase in the average net salary was due to production achievements or higher revenues (depending on the contracts/projects).
The most significant increase in average net wages at the CAEN Rev.2 division/subdivision level was recorded:
• by 114.7% in the production of coke chemical products and products obtained from the processing of crude oil, respectively by 57.4% in the production of crude oil and natural gas, mainly due to the provision of one-time bonuses and incentives, bonuses for management, for outstanding results or “Oilman’s Day”;
• from 10.0% to 21.5% in the mining of metal ores, tanning and leather processing (including the production of road and leather goods, harnesses and shoes; preparation and dyeing of fur);
• from 3.5% to 5.0% in other types of industrial activity, including production of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, production of computers, electronic and optical products, storage and support activities for transport;
• from 2.0% to 3.5% in the production of rubber and plastic products, printing and reproduction on recording media, services in the field of information technology (including IT services), production of textiles, industry of metal structures and metal products (except machines , equipment and installations), production of other products from non-metallic minerals, production of electrical equipment, metallurgical industry, woodworking, production of wood and cork products (except furniture, including production of products from straw and other materials, woven vegetables), furniture production, clothing production .
The decrease in the average net salary compared to August 2022 is due to the provision of one-time bonuses, in-kind and monetary assistance, amounts from net profit and other funds (including securities) in the previous months. Also, the decrease in average net wages was caused by production disruptions or lower revenue (depending on the contracts/projects).
The largest decrease in the average net salary at the CAEN Rev.2 division/department level was recorded:
• with 10.1% in telecommunications;
• from 2.5% to 5.0% in the production and supply of electricity and thermal energy, gas, hot water and air conditioning, production of tobacco products, services related to mining, forestry and logging (including fishing and aquaculture) , hotels and restaurants, coal mining, water transport, insurance, reinsurance and the activities of pension funds (except those included in the state social insurance system).
In the budgetary sphere, in September 2022 there was an increase in the average net salary compared to the previous month in education (+8.8%, as a result of the restoration of hourly wages for teaching staff), respectively in public administration (+1.0%). In the field of health care and social assistance, the average net salary decreased slightly compared to the previous month (-0.4%).
