A gadget is often perceived as a “consumable material” that is replaced every 2-3 years, if not more often. The service life of electronic products for the home is slightly longer, about 5 or at most 10 years. Danish audio company Bang & Olufsen, however, has a different and much more sustainable perspective: quality products that can be used for decades, for generations. In this way, speakers and home audio systems become a material as well as an emotional investment in objects that you can use with love and upgrade over time, rather than replace them.

One such product is the Beosound Theater soundbar, recently introduced to the Romanian market. With Beosound Theater, the company decided to create the most powerful soundbar in the world, combining the power of a home theater system in one product.

“With Beosound Theatre, we are harnessing the full potential of the high-quality streaming services now available to customers and bringing the magic of the cinema into the home. At the same time, it’s built to last for decades with a modular design that allows users to upgrade rather than replace this great soundbar.”, says Christian Tear. CEO of Bang & Olufsen.

For Bang & Olufsen, modularity is an important principle. Thanks to the modular design of the soundbar cover and the aluminum “wings” that can be exchanged for larger or smaller ones, when changing the TV, customers can do it without problems, adapting the product.

“Our customers want to invest in products that last, so Beosound Theater has been designed modularly to be compatible with multiple TVs. We’ve created a solution that allows you to upgrade your product, not replace it, and a product that can grow with you over time.”– says Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, head of the production department. “The Beosound Theater interface mount makes it possible to connect almost any display to the soundbar. This means you don’t have to invest in a new TV, or you can simply choose the TV solution that looks best for you.”

The wall or floor mount can be motorized and perfectly connected to the TV screen, and a special compartment for smart TVs and cables helps to harmoniously integrate the product into the room.

The Beosound theater can become the center of Dolby Atmos 7.1.14 surround sound. acting as a user-created center speaker that combines Dolby Atmos decoding and special post-processing with Bang & Olufsen’s own True Image algorithm to maximize the features of all Bang & Olufsen speakers.

In addition, in the idea of sustainable development, the product also comes with the Mozart platform, developed by the company, with the role of providing communication with Bang & Olufsen products launched since 1986, as well as those that will be launched next. years “Products like the Beolab 6000 and Beolab 8000 speakers appeal to design-conscious people, and we’ve made sure they can be used straight away with Beosound Theater. All they have to do is plug them in,” adds Miklou Silvanto, Design Director of Bang & Olufsen.

Taking all these elements into account, the Danish company appeals to the sophisticated user who makes a purchase decision based on sound arguments related to design, technical characteristics and durability, rather than on a momentary impulse. A user who values tradition and advanced technology equally and wants to enjoy them for many years.
