OUR Ukraine announced today that he received from United States, Spain and Norway new air defense systems designed to counter Russia’s massive bombing of critical infrastructure.

“NASAMS and the Aspid air defense system have arrived in Ukraine! These weapons will significantly strengthen the Ukrainian army and make our skies safer,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said on Twitter.

“We will continue to shoot down the enemies that attack us. We thank our partners: Norway, Spain and the USA,” he added.

Ukraine has been clamoring for state-of-the-art air defense systems from its Western allies for weeks now as Moscow stepped up strikes on electricity and water supplies, resulting in massive power and water outages as winter approaches.

Other countries, such as Germany or France, have already provided Kyiv with air defense systems.
