Last week there was an unusual accident in Lot. AND heavy weights which was transporting a hundred pigs, overturned on the road after a head-on collision. The truck hit a car who was driving in the opposite direction, and then lay down on the roadway.

Both drivers were light wounded and were taken to the hospital as rescuers quickly began clearing the road, which was covered in mud after the collision. It took more than an hour to protect the territory.

Another truck came for the live animals, and the dead pigs were handed over to the processor. 60 out of 105 pigs were saved when some should have been euthanized by a veterinarian.

The road was blocked and diversions were created. The truck was removed with a crane in the presence of the competent authorities and the mayor.

Firefighters said: “Given the risk, the fire hose placed in protection allowed this operation to be secured.”

All this road accident mobilized 20 firefighters.
