
OUR Jack White will play in his new film Martin Scorsese “Flower Moon Assassins“.
Popular musician, former vocalist and guitarist of the band white stripeswill play alongside country music stars Jason Isbell and Sturgil Simpson.
The film, starring Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, is based on the book of the same name by David Gran. The Western — a first for Scorsese — investigates the murders of Osage natives in 1920s Oklahoma, where oil fields have been discovered.
De Niro plays powerful rancher William Hale, while DiCaprio plays his nephew Ernest Burkhart. Country music stars Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson will also appear in the film.
According to the film’s music director Randall Poster, Isabelle and Simpson are only two of four musicians who will star in the film rather than “play music” in their roles.
Speaking on The Moment podcast, Poster confirmed that another musician who will play a role in the film is former White Stripes frontman Jack White.
