Here we are in German-speaking Switzerland, where a local TV channel is shooting images for a classic report about police. At first, everything goes well, the cameraman takes several shots, where you can see how some motorists are redirected to the inspection. So far, nothing unusual. But then a driver appears in a BMW 4 series, who obviously does not want to be CONTROLis…
He had no rights!
And for good reason, the driver of the Bavarian 4-door coupe does not have a driver’s license! Therefore, he is exposed to a great risk… In France, such an offense can result in a fine of up to 15,000 euros, the immediate confiscation of the car and up to 1 year in prison! Probably panicking, he decides to increase control and flee. The policeman, who just witnessed the event, alerts his colleagues, who immediately go after him! Fortunately, he doesn’t go far.
What’s worse…
Unfortunately for the BMW driver, the police were prepared for the possibility of a hit and run. A little further on they placed a series of portcullis, harrows on which the fugitive naturally rolled. He didn’t get very far when the tires went flat. To make matters worse for his already hopeless case, he lost control of his car and crashed… With another police car! So, to his first offense is added refusal to submit to aggravating circumstances, the punishment for which can reach a fine of 75,000 euros and 5 years in prison!
