The head of the Vaslui District Police Inspectorate (IPJ) ordered an investigation after images of two women dressed in police uniforms dancing the “chicken dance”, a tradition found at weddings in some regions of the country, appeared on social media.
Images published by News Vaslui and Vremea Nouă show two women dressed in police uniforms dancing at a party, one of them holding a tray of chicken.
As reported by Vremea Nouă, the event took place on Saturday evening in one of the restaurants in the city of Vaslui at the party of the couple who were supposed to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. The local publication writes that they are nurses at the Vaslui County Emergency Hospital, and several hospital employees are participating in the party.
The Vaslui District Police Inspectorate reports that it has launched an investigation to find out how these two women came into possession of the police uniform.
“The two presented persons are not employees of the police inspectorate of Vaslui district. The leadership of the Vaslui District Police Inspectorate has ordered inspections to be carried out, and upon their completion, legal measures will be taken,” said Bohdan Giorgice, IPJ Vaslui spokesman.
