Dramatic footage of the moment a Russian tank was ambushed somewhere on the Ukrainian front appeared on social media on Thursday.
The video shows a Russian T-80BV tank driving along a roadside, and at some point comes across a mine, which bursts with force and disables the combat vehicle.
After rolling a few meters, the tank stops, crashing into another armored vehicle that appears to have been left on the side of the road, remnants of a previous battle.
As the tank smokes, part of the crew gets out and then tries to move the turret so the driver can get out too. This whole operation takes several tens of seconds, during which the Ukrainians observe the situation from a distance through the camera of the anti-tank guided missile launcher.
Then the Ukrainian forces fired a rocket at the tank and hit the armored car just as the driver managed to get out of the car. The explosion was so powerful that the Russian soldier was thrown tens of meters.
The moments were filmed from two different angles, both from a drone and through an anti-tank missile system.
Carefully! Dramatic pictures!
